Whoa,finally i'm back to update my blog after like 10 months of hibernation! =x

hahah where should i start? hmmm...perhaps a reflection of the past year...2009 (:

2009! haha i have alot of stuff to say,but sehh...dont really know where to start =x

Olevels! haha,after months & months of preparation work,tests & exams..all the sec 4s & 5s are done with a major milestone in our education journey (: hahah i wanna Thank God for his faithfulness to me, well at least i'm happy that i could at least cope with my COE & studies..(: hahah can still remember,always after school i would quickly pack my bag & rush out of the school,then go off for training (:


OH YES how could i forget! haha i wanna Thank God for my DSA as well! =) SAJC!!! whooaaaaa!!! haha i could still recall that joyful feeling i had in me,:D!
Thank God for answering my prayers! x)




Well yes thats my bowling! (:
As i look back at my bowling journey this year,though it has been kinda short,but somehow i feel like i've accomplished something.
Well,
- B div! hahah thats where i got my first bowling pin! (: Thanks Uncle Billy! oh yes & my juniors =D(sighh...come to think of it,its my last year of B div!) =(

- the whole entire COE experience! hahah! i guess i'll definitely miss the fun our group had during training! =) cant help but smile as i think back :D

- National Age Group 2009! well =) my 2 medals! (: & of course the exposure i gained in the U21 squad...well if u know what i mean,haha i feel very blessed to have that experience..bowling with them (:

- Singapore International Open 2009? HAHA this year is finally the first year which i attended the victory banquet! (: the food was really nice..& there's free flow of drinks..woots! haha lol!!!

-Inter Con games at OCC...
Well, although our team didnt win this year,at least we managed to scrape past the qualifying round & enter the finals! =)..but still i enjoyed the whole experience! LOL!

- COE circuit!
I guess the whole entire circuit taught me a good lesson..as in during my games, & that is to learn how to effectively manage your emotions,& dont let it overcome you,& affect your performance.
Yeah,was quite disappointed actually during the finals =(...but well,failures are meant to make you stronger right? Yeah its gonna hurt abit, but well, this is how we learn from our mistakes & put it to good use in the upcoming tournaments

- National Bowling Championships!

FINALLY haha,O levels are over by then..

Had quite a good experience, (: but though i didnt get anything from masters (except that piece of cert =x) i still had much fun competing..(:


- MILO OPEN 2009!


(: it was really really memoriable!! SHINBOHYUN!!! AHH!!

the whole entire tournament was really a fruitful experience for me, though i didnt qualify =(, it was a total eye opener for me to see how good the Koreans are. I think i got some sort of inspiration from them, to train hard & to mould myself to become a better bowler.

Gosh! i bowled beside shinbohyun during one of my MQs,& mann!!! i love her follow through! her ball speed is also quite fast,spares are super super accurate! she never did miss any spares,but well splits are exceptional including baby ones.
Yep,i must learn to be like her!

Have a Blessed 2010 ahead! =D

Wow haha its been ages since i last blogged =x,almost 2 months ago,well okay where should i start? hmmm...


OKAY well first i shall blog about COE trainings as well as b div! haha! COE training have just been the usual,uncle sandra would take a video of us bowling & points out our mistakes to us, for me its tension in my backswing,& my finishing position,keep bending too low! Ball placement is also another problem for me, cause i think i either push too late or i push the ball away too far out. =(...



Well yeah,haha anyway, B DIV! =)...Thank God IJ got 4th!! haha wow! at least we got something this year =),Thanks be to God! B div was really fun! really enjoyed it! te team bonding and all...haha,if i had a chance,yes! i wanna go back & play b div again,but sigh unfortunately for now,its just full speed ahead for studies..=(...


NAG! during the march holidays from the 17th of march to the 20th of march at occ too! To me its like another repeat of b div..haha! yeah, really enjoyed it too! i had fun bowling with yingxin,mich hwang & of course jaime my doubles partner! yeah & of course i had fun bowling with kawai,gina & angeline! =D haha,its really an eye opener for me... & from this tournament, i learnt an expensive lesson, that is, i need to have the proper set of equipment before going for any kind of competition, because when the lanes dried up, yeah i struggled...=(...
I wanted to qualify for masters actually...so i felt rather disappointed with myself =(...but nevermind at least God has blessed me with 2 medals for both team events! =D...hahah i should count my blessings =)



Well for now, i gotta work hard on my studies, bowling & all can be kept aside, i guess the next tournament for me to look forward to is AIA open, which is in november! =D! Thank God that its right after my O levels! ^^, yeah,so all the more i should just focus on my studies =)...& just keep training till i get better & better! especially my ball speed! haha! i really need to work on that! =)..


I just hope that i'll be able to cope with my COE trainings..cause from what i know, i'll be having extra lessons everyday starting from june i think,so i dun know whether i still make it for trainings...=( without trainings, i'll seriously feel like something is lacking in my life...LOL! without bowling as so to speak..haha..=)


Well,i guess thats all i have to say for now...haha i finally felt like blogging today! hahah lol...

Many things have happened recently & gosh! haha i duno where to start!


okay okay first of all, i seriously feel the pressure of sec 4...really pressurising, & i really need to work hard if i wanna get into SAJC! i really really wonder...how on earth did my seniors do it? seriously! =(...they make 10 pts seem so easy to get...like O levels then O levels lor,nothing much...no big deal...sigh!


BOWLING! guess what,B div & NAG is coming closer & closer...& i need to get prepared quickly!! there's not much time left! time is seriously running short,B div,NAG...O LEVELS!


I got back my literature marks today...yeah my teacher this year is mrs mag low for short...she's somewhat the most strict teacher for lit & very experienced too...=) which is good...yeah....& i failed very badly...& its going into my report book i got a 7/25...& yeah she pointed out my mistakes during lit....everyone saw but i dun mind...if everyone can learn from my mistakes i wouldnt mind showing it...& ensure myself that i wont make those mistakes again...=) at least Thank God that she pointed out my mistakes....so that i know next time =D.... =)..




Erm...u know now...i think i'm having a problem with my vice chair position...somehow in one way or another...i feel that people disagree with the fact that i'm vice chair..okay i absolutely agree with the fact that i'm really quiet...the kind of person that dosent like much attention...cause i'll feel so uneasy...seriously now i understand that being someone who "leads" isnt easy at all,experience it & u'll know yourself...



well today, i didnt my chair person didnt come,so i didnt take the attendance sheet down with me,then to my surprise,i saw bernice & alycia approaching me saying...christabel didnt come today...& i caught a not so pleasant look on one of their faces =(...i'm sorry that i didnt know...so i ran & took the newsletters from the GO,& rushed up to class to take attendance...=( & ran back down to submit...=) Thank God that i reached on time for emaths class =)

WEDNESDAY:

At first,the trip wasnt confirmed...& i knew about the trip only on christmas eve,my dad said why dont we go Genting tml after church service..it was really shocking to me,haha cause we havent packed our bags & all..XD,

Yeah,& that night i even went to safra tampines to watch people bowl....& they were having cosmic bowling!! haha so fun!! the lights were nice & there were many prizes to be won,like a golden bowling pin!! =(...i wanted that,haha but i didnt bowl...lol! so yeah went back soon after...


We went back home & started packing our bags...till about 1 plus before i went to sleep...haha..xD


THURSDAY:

Woke at around 9.30am to get ready for church....Thank God we reached church on time! haha & the service started,pastor dorm & sister gwen were the so called preachers for the day,though it wasnt really like the usual,=D but quite funny haha..whoo!!! sister gwen is gonna get married next year!! haha =x... yeap & church service was only an hour,before heading off to malaysia..=)


Before that, we dropped by toa payoh central to eat wanton mee...our lunch that is,before heading off...=D...we went by the 2nd causeway which is tuas as the traffic there was smooth sailing...& it was! we crossed the causeway in about 10-15 mins,& yep before we knew it,we were already on the north south highway heading to KL..


First stop was at ayer keroh,we temporarily stopped there for toliet breaks & a snack at A&W...yum!!! sadly A&W cant be found in spore,=(...haha but we actually took away our snacks,bought 2 cups of root beer & 2 packets of curly fries...=D...i need to go lose some weight when sch reopens =x...


Yep & we headed straight for KL...we stopped at sunway lagoon first,cause i wanted to watch people playing at MILO!!! XD,pyramid mega lanes there =),it was super packed with overseas players,& many national bowlers from other countries were there,so fun to watch them bowl sia...haha xD, oh yes i saw this indonesian national bowler,AHHH!!! i love her realease & her rev man!! so smooth...& the pin action is like as if the pins at the deck were feather light......LOL!!...xD..

haha,i saw derrick,ching ee,& all the agape peeps like shengyao,john,andy,wanting,alec...also saw celine...etc..haha,many singaporean bowlers were there too..=)..had my dinner there & went to shop for a new pair of jeans...LOL! yeah went "shopping" at parkson! & my jeans cost 54RM..x)

Finally i'm gonna update my blog again,LOL! i admit i'm a lazy person..=x, yep..



Actually nothing much happened this week,no training or whatsoever,school training has stopped ever since erm...well....about 2 weeks ago? =(,sigh,& yet other schools still have training,but its okay,i'll just have to wait patiently,& guess what...B DIV STARTS NEXT YEAR 18TH MARCH!!!! its getting earlier each year,oh man...i wont be surprised to find it at the beginning of february of 2010...=x...just joking ^^,



Well,okay since i have nothing much to say,let me just blog about my day today...LOL!...


I went to my grandmother's house at around 2.30pm,bought lunch & after that i started to squeeze orange juice...LOL? okay thats random...but i really did that..-.-..for fun,then i went on to do my amaths work,started to refresh my memory on differentiation,XD continuation from yesterday's revision,yeah,i somehow got the hang of it but i will still need to practice,otherwise i can find myself forgetting all the stuff i've learnt by the start of next year...



Then claris called me in the afternoon,asking me what homework there is for the holidays,haha i told her all the stuff we were supposed to do,and Thank God she reminded me a few,it totally slipped my mind! =(..sigh! i'll get to work ASAP...yes yes yes,but not for tml & friday cause i'm going out =),later(cause its already midnight =D) meeting ky,jan & amelia for bowling,& tml meeting MMC for an outing =)..
uh oh,great,i forgot what time i'm supposed to meet them! T.T...got the timing mixed up!! eeks!


yeah & after that i went to take a short nap before waking up to watch my 5.30pm chinese drama show,yeah it was shown like around 2-3 yrs ago if i'm not wrong,but its okay i dun mind watching it all over again,haha! lol...so we left house at 6.15pm & bought macs for my dinner,FILLET-O-FISH! =D..i think i'd better watch my diet man..haha xD,so we took a train from toa payoh all the way to city hall & we changed train from there to the east west line...all the way to tanah merah station,where we can catch a shuttle bus into NSRCC,=)...yep & we did exactly just that...


Reached there punctually at around 7.50pm,enough time for me to get ready & all,before the practice throw started,saw loke chor playing,angeline teo,& even REMY ONG! haha i was kinda shocked but later learnt from uncle john that he coaches club training there,so,i guess its kinda normal to see him around there,i'm abit shocked cause he was in Qatar last week,& back this week? its like so fast? haha maybe can stay there longer for a holiday or something =)...


Bowled lousily today,sigh,all my games were 14+ except a 186 game,stepped on the foul line twice,sigh,got scolding again...okay i'm so sry! but here comes the emo part,yeah my mum scolded me for not taking all my single pin spares like pin 10 & pin 7 etc...my spare ball just hooked away,& i was quite frustrated during my game,all i had in mind was " use your index finger to create rev...rev,rev,rev,rev,rev,rev,rev,rev " =(...saw how angeline(national youth) released her ball,so smooth,so zai! heard that she didnt bowl for quite some time,but still very zai,haha =(,i just wanna get into NY!!! =(...i really want to!


Oh yeah,& its confirmed,i'm not going anywhere for holiday this year,no milo or whatsoever...i dun dare to ask cause its too paisei =(..probably next year when i get better...yeah & when i go for competitions,its no more fun...its just focusing on winning..xD yeah....okay i'm gonna ban myself from competitions...i really dun want to donate anymore,i've already have enough exposure....now is just focusing on winning...


hmmm i shall say my goals for next year....



1. Work hard for O levels! i really want 10 points & below...(of course pray hard & work hard!)


2. Cope with my COE training!


3.Qualify for masters in the national schools B division championship...&...enter the stepladder finals! i really really want to experience that myself! its so fun! & kanchiong!!! =x


4. see IJ get a super solid third for the national schools! =) i really want to see it!!! =(


5. Get into the national youth squad at the end of the year! =).....if i actually get in,by next year...it's really God grace! i'm serious!


6. Read the Bible more often =)...


& last but not least, try to go milo next year? =D

=) Finally i feel like blogging,haha its time to update! ^^... Well this past holidays has been quite okay for me,been catching up on my Amaths lately cause apparently i've forgotten how to do differentiation & equations of cirles...sigh....=(...clean forgotten...thats the worst part...but Thank God i did my revision & manage to remember some =)..




I guess i'll be going for my holiday soon,going up to milo...not to play but to watch them bowl.....its only a MAYBE...haha,even if i play...i know i wont qualify as i'm just not good enough...its just like AIA man,i wasted all my money on MQs....cant donate anymore...haha,i just plan to train & train till i get better,then then moment i'm in for compeition,i'm just set to win it...& not donate...=)



Gosh...i guess it's gonna be a post on my thoughts again,haha i just feel like typing out my thoughts about the past...hmmm....



there are some ppl who ever asked me whether i regretted joining IJ...well...the answer is no! of course not,i've always wanted to come to this school & finally God granted my desire,& yeah i'm really happy about it haha! But yet i remembered praying saying that i'll face whatever consequences that may come in the future,cause like u know when u transfer sch & everything starts anew etc etc.... so yeah...


there's also another question someone onced asked me,whether i like the bowling team...sigh...i duno where to start,


the answer is yes & yet no...sadly...


well yes is because first of all,i get to BOWL! ^^,haha first thing's first yeap is just plainly bowling,plus uncle billy & vincent,& yijing & chesna & abby & alicia & nicolette & celine & debra & eunice etc... yeah i seriously dun regret knowing all of them,if i didnt go to IJ i wouldnt have known them,neither would i know my classmates,my school mates & everyone whom i know right now...haha =)...


but sadly is also no...because...i just feel that i cant be myself mixing with my peers,well if u knw what i mean haha,but yet..if i didnt get into a sch with bowling i seriously wouldnt have started competitive bowling...& i wouldnt have known the ppl i know today..=)...




but anyway,i'm almost graduating so i should just play along with it,i just wanna do well enough to get where i want to...=)...i need to study & bowl hard...as 2009 is gonna be a busy year ahead =D... okay i shall stop blogging here =)





Testimony: okay guess what,today i was frantically finding my chinese electronic dictionary around the house cause i forgot where i put it,then i just prayed silently in my mind & suddenly i was prompted to look inside my bag that i used to carry during b div,seriously the thought just popped up inside my head...& it really was inside there!! Thank God i found my dictionary! =D yay!
